may's going off; into june... n im starting branch duty in june!! dammit.

ok now samuel n me officially took over the website from jiabin. planning to introduce some flash into it... if got time that is. nowadays almost all webs got flash in it, pure HTML's kinda boring. at least the banner put in flash la.

can't believe singapore's welfarism... i nv knew there was such a thing as Eat-Dinner-With-Ur-Family Day. all govt employees knock off at least an hr early every last fri of the month. haha! wth... but I Like It! yeah man i think we shud also have eat lunch with ur family day, n have tea with ur family day. then repeat also for relatives, distant relatives, friends, old friends blah blah until all workdays r Eat-Something-With-Someone Day :D

hung out with rey dar n muz on sat... actually wanted to watch some movie but ended up eating n talkingcock at bk n starbucks. the starbucks at raffles city is nice man... the ambience reminds me of Ponte Vecchio somehow... one of the shops i went in to escape the cold. the old brown wooden air kinda thing.

today.Blades of Glory is damn funny... i dunno wad else to say but its the super spontaneous, Dodgeball-like, meshuggeneh show tt keeps ur endorphins raging thruout the show- testosterone/oestrogen too perhaps. hahaha n it makes me feel like every cent of the 8 bucks is worth it. i'd give it 5 but i'll give it 4, if u catch my drift.

met bryan choo peide aka tpjc tennis vice-capt 05 at marina... some long time no see! he said he was in safsa... pro... then he tell me go play for my formation. totally dun understand what n how he meant but i just said i'll ask ard. wa if really can play then uber good! n anyone knows whether marina sq sells churros? cuz i somehow caught a whiff of it there...

then just now i watched this on the com- My Sassy Girl. its not what i think it was like- heck i think everything's not what i think it's like lar aiyah but anw this is a nice movie la... in every sense of the word nice. its a feel-good movie; a love story (duh, hanmovies r almost always abt love) but with a weird but nice twist. 4 stars (one of the 4 is for the afterfeel. chocolate has aftertaste, this one has afterfeel).

a good week lies ahead! alot of ns ppl r looking forward to a long vesak break...
happy happy
but i not happy
cuz i may have
formation duty

argh! haha

saturday was abit of a disappointment. i just dont understand the sch's intention of limiting college day audience only to prize-winners n invited guests a.k.a current students, many of whom wanna pon (knowing tpjc)... in the end ppl who wanna go (not just to get their attendance marked) dont get to go... non-prize takers didnt get to see tk, wm n s01 in the limelight of the audi. heard they replayed photos of tk (n inevitably s01) onscreen to appraise tk. i missed all tt, how sian can it get! damn.

but in any case, i went to pool abit with dar at DTE before meeting up with the rest at tpjc. quite heartwarming to see everyone n the teachers again :D too bad ms tan couldnt come... so we hung ard the foyer talking like everyone'd lose their mouths the next day.

n i collected my school graduation certificate... it looks cool man... like some book prize or sth. how they glamourise the cert... but then again, everyone in Dragon Year (again!) got it. so by absolute perspective its gd n nice n cool. by the relative perspective its chey i also have.

thumbs up for the glam cert! hahaha

the class went to mrs gay's house after tt... her dogs look magnificent man, esp the brown one (forgot wad breed alr.) n we whacked table soccer until damn fun like hor fun haha never knew it could b that fun... No Rules. had pizza of all sorts... saturating the stomach. took photos, hung around talking cock, the thing tt we always do!

s01 @ mrs gay's house

n i find this photo damn funny dunno y... smile everytime i see it hahaha

next is the day ms tan comes back! looking forward to it :D

watched Spidey 3 on sun w eugene n ws. contrary to what the bulk of reviewers think, i think its actually good. stunning visuals, gd plot (u cant expect it to be as intertwined as those korean/ hongkong serials), and with a twist- the final 2v2 battle. n venom looks damn cool hahaha. probably its reverse psychology in action. the early swifts who caught the worm expected a snake and got a worm. they lambast the worm, calling it a maggot. the ostriches who caught their worm later expected a maggot and got a worm. so here i am praising the worm for being a snake :D Four stars!

nus offered me Engineering Science... if i decide not to change it in the next two years, im almost 80% decided on Bioimaging and Optics for the specialization. but i sure as hell wanna at least minor in psychology! or if can do double major even more Shiok! but confirm dont have... shiat.

n ok this is random. i dunno whether i said before but there's sth suspicious abt how CMRC hires NSFs... their names are Wen Jin, Jun Jie, John, Jeff, Jia Bin & Jun Long...

ok shit i was tagged by jema... argh. why me!! haha some purposely right?!

Rules of the Game

Each player starts off with ten weird habits/little known facts about yourself.
Tagged people to blog about ten weird habits/little known facts.
You must choose six people to be tagged and list their names.
No tagbacks and state rules clearly!

ok the six ppl r Somebody, Anyone, Everybody, Anybody, Someone, n Everyone.
so basically if ur reading this, or ur on my links, or u tagged at the board before, or u comment before, or u accidentally typo address then come to this blog, or u kena some virus anyhow no meaning link u to this page, u're tagged! so go n do... aiya up to u lah

well here goes nothing n there goes my S01-ness.

1. i recently walked into a glass partition at challenger. if u think i said this before... no. i said i nearly walked into it. fact is i actually did... as in got kena the glass abit la. shit.. dun start calling me blur now

2. i thought white chicken n brown chicken (as in some chicken rice) were different kind of chicken

3. when i was in pri sch i was one of the two shortest ppl in class... doesnt matter guy or gal cuz dunno y somehow all the gals all abit the tall.

4. i can't wake up without an alarm clock. with alarm clock also still only 50% chance

5. the maju camp canteen auntie asked me whether want ice (ping) or not. i told her "one month ago" or sth liddat cuz i thot she ask me when i come in (army is ping rite.)

6. i dream everytime i sleep.

7. i have phobophobia... means i have phobia of having phobia (i think im running out of things to say)

8. i hate someone's hands and face. that someone's name is Clock.

9. i can swim even in quicksand but not in memories.

10. i threw away the key to the box i kept my secrets in

ok if u're looking for something like Peter Pan or Narnia... then dont watch this show. went to watch it with eugene on mon since he was on off. i expected something of a full fantasy adventure in that Terabyte-graphical world tt appeared in the trailer... it turned out to be a childhood struggles n reflection kinda show, not unlike Finding Neverland. Although finding neverland is much better mayb cuz of the way the whole movie is expressed with intensity/ seriousness/ all tt blahness, with the inexplicable element of truth since it was after all an autobiography of J.M. Barrie. Bridge to Terabithia was just watered down in its plot, childish instead of childlike, n without a possibility of the imagined being in the slightest bit real. sadly... 2.5 dimming stars, at most 3.

been watching DEAL or NO DEAL on chn 5 tues n weds night. i must admit its as exciting as they say... esp. when the banker offers something to the tune of $16,600... then the time when adrian pang opens the button panel n u see the participant go all maniacal, stroking the red button, or doing anything but pressing it, then finally closing the panel in refuse.

it actually all boils down to greed doesn't it. idealizing the outcome in our heads... the question of "what if"... somehow humans have a habit of forming a mental picture of the ideal outcome, then after we imagine seeing it we'll go on to believe it.

i hated hope once... but i didnt realize that it was actually a wish in disguise...

whatever la.
thursday- HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO! hope u get lost in tt book of lost things n enjoy ur newfound freedom of 18s... Heck the Mums n Heck the Dads hahaha no la jk...

been quite a hectic week. im in no position to say anything abt tiring but i can complain abt hectic.

mon & tues i lifted quite a large rock off the top of my head, or i climbed out of a deep well, or whatever way u wanna put it, but on Monday 070507, this special day more than 19 years after i was born... i finally saw the platforms of Chinese Garden, Lakeside & Boon Lay mrt. and i finally ever set foot in Boon Lay. like visiting some foreign land. i never went beyond jurong east.

anw went to BCTC to be some photographer for some reservist/regulars course... but happened tt mon n tues all lectures. sucks.

weds... another malu at maju. i forgot to bring my uniform to camp! cuz i forgot mon i didnt go back to camp, n i only always bring a new set on mon. shit man... luckily my warrant officer's a nice guy... n also luckily he's my duty officer for my weds duty. he let me off... damn heng...

thurs. we chionged make a video but it was super budget. i dunno how they (the up-theres) expect us to upload 3 tapes frm the cam, extract the important parts, n come up with a summary video all in a matter of 4 hours. conflicting ideas between the sirs dont really help much... in the end we did abt 8 hrs. left camp at abt 10... we almost wanted to stay overnight in the office already... actually not a bad idea, considering the resource room hahaha

yesterday was the opposite. the centre closed at 3, so i went to Jurong Point at boon lay with cmrc ppl... and... tt was my first time at Jurong Point. maybe i dont live under a rock. i think im living under an entire mountain. anw went there n watched......

200 Pound Beauty.
at first glance many ppl (incl. me) think this is one of those soppy love After The Sunset kinda thing but actually the movie is about facades. the love part is only the scaffolding for the story... n its one of those funny yet touching movies. the funny parts r really LOL crap kind n the moving ending is a real tear-jerker... i tried to fight it off but my tear ducts not muscular enough. i give this emotional rollercoaster a 4 or 4.5... yeah i think its that good, unless u're the kind without a sense of humour nor a heart for friendship n kinship.

today- im not typing this post from home. nothing further.

had EP&C (neither do i know what tt stands for) cohesion on thurs evening/night... sth like a gathering for my unit n another unit. nt bad quite fun n loud n laojiat haha... hung in the mess (recreation centre) n played pool n table soccer n took photos. seems like im getting abit more satisfied with my NS job. i can involve myself with media, software n abit of design. all of which i quite like :D

until now im still feeling the tinge of relief from making the implicit choice to be reposted from monosodiumdichromate. i cant help but feel happy ever since i went to the ASA course n met the NaCr2O7 ppl n heard tt all tt talk abt 'extensive learning of computer security' stuff was just talk. basically the underlying thing abt tt job is the same... an ASA. or mayb they just didnt want to reveal their top-secret knowledge?? oOoo...

and Happy Birthday Purity! some paiseh... now i post on the correct date haha

watched the movie version of a walk to remember... realize i had it in my com for awhile already. its so much watered down compared to the picture the book painted of the romance story between Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan. somehow the movie made the girl seem like another aloof introvert who's actually capable of a few harsh words, instead of the samaritan saint who's nice to everyone no matter what. n the walk to remember itself wasn't portrayed la... what was supposed to be a heart-wrenching walk turned out an all-smiles-and-sunshine kinda thing. but all in all still a very nice movie. only one thing... the song is stuck in my head now.

sing to me the song of the stars
of your galaxy dancing and laughing and laughing again

that could be my favourite line... haha. ok its time to hit the pillows and stoke the dreams...

how is it tt life has so many things that stare u straight in the face yet we look past them most of the time? much like the Anti-Muggle Charm put on the door of the Leaky Cauldron... maybe all we have to do is to stand and stare, then perhaps we realize much more. we'll realize that people actually walk into the blank wall between the two shops.

eragon's nt bad... cant believe i watched it only now. its a nice show, cool effects. but one thing... it has a happy ending! tt makes it like one episode, one phase and thats it. i'd prefer endings tt give u sth to ponder about, something more to anticipate for. like most of the trilogy movies or hp.

was at anchorage bus stop, there were two ladies abt early 30s at the other end of the bus stop, holding clipboards, accosting seemingly-income-earning-bypassers (standard scene). their routine action: wave their hand with their arm stretched out n "Hiiiiiee! Would u mind blah blah..." in the sorta act cute way. One middle aged man who was rushing for time responded: wave his hand with his arm stretched out in exactly the same way n "No no dont want". the lady suddenly paiseh then bent her elbows n retracted her hand immediately, n i nearly choked on my subway cookie.

ok tt was bad but at least i didnt chortle in front of her... on the spot it was quite funny lar... but after tt i see the lady like very scared to accost people already.. then realize tt that man was quite bastard.

bro showed me this toot (literally) of a performance

hahahahaha this guy certainly has a super flair for creativity man
