my hair is getting outta control. but i'll heck it since i'm gonna have to tahan at longest mloclam-type hair (sry! haha) for two yrs, im gonna enjoy the f4 hair on my head now. then, on jan 26, i'll inject some satisfaction into the freakin NS barber's sadistic job.

only until recently i learnt wad flatulence was.

my new yr resolution is that im gonna resolve everything. abt 2 days more to the farewell of 2006... honestly i dont want it to go. if 06 goes, it means schooling goes. schooling is different frm studying i think we all know tt quite well... some aspects of schooling we'll never find it again after this.

NS... i think i know how i can make myself look forward to it. i just have to watch those 'Rrr!' kinda shows like gladiator troy black hawk down blah blah... then can get into the mood for gruelling thru bmt. altho i did experience abit of gruelling in vs too... yea

then theres uni. i definitely dont know which uni to expect, but i really hope n even wish i can go to nus. right now its the same feeling i had towards vjc during pae/jae... i hope i wont disappoint myself again. argh shit lar.. then got something else i want to complain, i'll do it in a sentence. gals can go uni first, Not Fair!!! ok. finish

last thing. youth n adolescence is drifting away. soon its the twenties, then i'll b grown up already... damn fast, n its getting faster!! i rmb in pri sch holidays seemed like half a lifetime. now its just a few weeks. maybe in a few more blinks i'll be into senescence, then a couple more and i'll be admiring how nice the interior of the coffin is.

Merry belated christmas(?!) everyone! christmas was great, except tt this time round i didnt bask in the spirit over at orchard as i did last yr n the yr before... but all the same :D

we stayed over at darrens hse some days before i forgot exactly when n im lazy to think. watched death note 1 the movie n the anime until ep11. n now im suffering withdrawal symptoms from lack of more death note. shit lar this kind of frens arh... tsktsk started me on this drug called deathnote. but i'll try to resist.

24th dec. Happy Bday Desiree! again if u see this la.
spent the break of christmas abt 200m from my house. overnight at eugene's hse playing ps2. slept quite abit also... then in the morning we went to eastpoint for some pool. we played a hell of a 40bucks on pool/arcade in total! crazy ar but one person spend 5, total top up 20bux, xmas promotion get 20bux free.

other than pool i actually tried those dance shit thingies at the arcade. got one is the 4 arrows then step, the other is got 3 step n two for hand one. BOTH ALSO DAMN DIFFICULT LAH.

me n ws two guys on those platforms trying, basically, to cut off the sensors at the right time. n if u dun have the right moves u'll just get stuck in some retarded gestures like got some grasshopper in the underwear... then when finish we realize eugene's fren happen to be there n watching us 'dance'. damn malu.

tried other stuff also (we had abt 30bux for arcade man!)... hooping for the record, some lousy ice hockey, the 3 buttons to whack one... abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz lah.

Greece 8th Dec

ok this post is gonna take up quite alot cuz its a week n a half of greece into one single post... i'll try to use some gp summary skills altho i have none of course... i wanna record everything before i forget it :D i use pictures bttr cuz pictures speak thousands

touched down in El. Venizelos in the morn... took a cab to the intercontinental. dad damn funny cuz he blur then just sat down in the driver's seat for a moment... then the driver like standing there looking at him for tt moment. he forgot in europe they drive on the left... anw after abt 45 min of bloody nauseating taxi we reached the hotel... the interior much nicer than the facade. greece the look of the city is like half rome + half bangkok... the buildings n cars n roads all got abit of standard one except they dont bother to maintain it. n its 4 degrees.

put our stuff down then went to roam the city centre/Syntagma Square/Ermou street. damn LAO JIAT ah haha got alot of roadside stalls selling sth like pretzels, forgot wad its called. its some bread material thats opposite of Gardenia material (i.e. biscuit-y).


they also sell coconut sticks... saw live models in boutique windows too. dun worry they dont strip haha. then walked thru a 'europasarmalam'; lotsa ruins on the sides of the roads. had to go back at 4plus know y? cuz dusk is at 5 there. wth!! some short day know... mayb there all the plants all shortday plants. can't believe how its like further up north... dunnid to wake up already.

left the hotel after lunch then we anyhow walk- walk until suddenly we happened to b climbing some steps up this Philopappou Hill. the view of the city at the top rocks... the buildings dotted like dots(?!).


then we just walk on until we walking thru some forest. i think we damn anyhow la, esp dad. i think if at one point we turn left then we'll reach the philopappou mausoleum instead of more trees. but anw we emerged onto a road then at the end we saw the Odeion(a roofed stadium) of Herodes Atticus at the foot of the Acropolis, an area tts damn up high. got some ppl playing soccer cuz theres sth like a plaza outside. walked down the road to Hadrian's Arch- a monument tts quite cool cuz frm a certain angle u can see the Acropolis in the distance, thru the arch:


then went back to hotel to eat some cup noodles... i think if mum nv pack a whole luggage of singapore food we'll just die there

walked thru Ermou street again; got alot of ppl busking n doing stuff along the street, most of them expecting some monetary returns haha thats the catch. Top 3 most interesting: a balloon sculptor, a pro string sextet, n a damn pro caricaturist... 1 charcoal caricature in 5-10 min.

n a SUNDAY in Greece is quite gd cuz alot of things free admission. visited the national history museum... quite nice... n their weapons all damn stylo. wanted to visit some Ancient Agora shit but then we lost our way and got a better deal- passed the entrance to the Acropolis n its FREE on sunday! yay haha cuz other days admission is 13euros (26bucks!) so we went all the way up to the top, n the scenery is breathtaking man

i was actually looking down at all the places i went to the past days la... cant believe i was so damn high up! took such a long time to go back down (esp mum haha) then no more time to visit Agora already. but the Acropolis more than makes up for it man! anw frm the Acropolis can see the Agora site already- looks like another columny thingy. n on the way down i realised sth- Greece has alot of alfresco dining. haha theres no such thing as hawker centre/coffeshop... their "budget" is already like those along the spore river those kind.

Start of 4-day tour. i think i'll juz post photos of where i went la. basically its like: long nauseating journey on the coach, then stop at a tourist attraction, listen to some history (in fact a half hour lecture by the tour guide) of it, walk ard take photos blah blah eat, wadever then repeat.

n the tour guide is super knowledgeable but as a tour guide she sucks lah. whole time in the bus sit in the front n speak into the mike only. nv face us/ talk to us personally or wad... the tour grp was mostly angmoh (funny huh) n the only other asians were a sporean couple n a kiampa family. so there :D the last day of the tour got some big grp of other ppl join us cuz they join the 1 day tour only- alot more singaporeans but all like studying overseas kind.

visited a monastery on the top of meteora. some entrance that is... claustrophobic ppl cfm have a hard time going thru this short tunnel, before descending this rock n ascending another to reach the monastery. and gals need to wear some skirt(more like sarong)-like kinda thing in the monastery. suay sia

in athens. went to visit mum's fren in the sia building nearby the hotel... then went to syntagma square again to eat pitta. tts like the greek fast food... u can buy take-out(wrap) or dine alfresco. its some bread thingy with chicken/pork/beef/lamb + tomatoes n onions... i love it man esp the lamb. too bad cant da bao back to sg... but even if i did i dont think i'll share it haha!

went on a 3-island cruise to Hydra, Poros n Aegina... thanks to mum's fren for helping us book it. Aegina is known for its pistachio nut, Poros for its cobblestone pavements n donkey carts, n the Hydra i forgot wad.

ahhaha ok tt was random. returned from chalet ytd... it was fun no doubt... but now im totally tired. my slping hours r screwed up, n im gonna mutate into a freakin panda i think. i still havent pack finish, n i'll b in the skies tmr at abt this time. damn disorganised but heck i wont make it tt long.

n i played the nicest game of monopoly during the chalet... the game ended up with ws n dickson (n eugene in a way) on 1 team n me n darren on another. 2 teams- fought it out all the way to the Hotel age... rarely get to play until so hiong

what a night. unforgettable, fun, everything positive lah. the only thing i regret: not exhausting my memory card. wasted lah.. but nvm i still had the night of my life man... haha sounds like i did something taboo but no lah im juz referring to the prom night. :D

we gathered at eugenes hse first before making our way down to the Ritz. and i bought 8 batteries, 6 of which i never used. $9.50 summore! thanks know. but anyway at least i feel secure lah haha like who the hell brings a pack of 6 batteries to prom and doesnt use them... siao man. so anyway we took a taxi there, met a few 01ers at the lobby area! punctual sia

there were some speeches, then it got down to the food. we were left to merely fantasize about the chinese course dinner we thot we were gonna have... it was western tt night... n the food was either crap or too way out of our league... i think its likely the latter hahha. so it was like bread, soup, appetizer, main course, dessert n coffee. they served those kinda one big white plate then abit of food, parsley, then the dressing n voila, 10 bucks please. so after awhile we got up again... everytime there was a break or sth... then go ard snapping away.

there was lots of suspense, anticipation, wadever... then when the last digit come out somewhere in the ballroom will be cheering like mad cuz their fren got it, or the table got it. eugene damn lucky he tio some 40bucks newurbanmale voucher... if i know early i go kope his ticket first hahah... ws was going hopping crazy over our luckless streak at the draws, table or individual... cuz the prizes really quite enticing, esp the IPOD NANO!

there was this game i think was quite fun; between tables... ws was the table rep. we got him every single item except a grey hair which suddenly becomes totally my fault cuz i dyed my hair red... hahha everytime i think of it damn funny la. and theres actually one more thing lacking, unless u count darren as an approved singing male table member. crap!

im gonna blog abt everything i remember, and im not gonna leave this one out. its almost the highlight of the evening... the nominees for prom king went up on stage, strutted their stuff blah blah... fast forward... the nominees for prom queen went on stage. weitian was one of them!! power la... then as with prom king, the prom queen nominees "sashayed" down the aisle. then we planned n executed... rt passed tk a flower from the table there, tk held the flower and...

wt didnt tio top 3 but whoa i think tt was gd enough already la! but without wt up there, i think it was quite easy to guess who would have been prom queen... easier so for king. i think they both look good; and better together. at least much better than one of the past yrs one... looked like a major attempt at sabo. as for the best dressed, i think the guy with the countryside look wouldve been more compatible with the gal, who dressed quite countryside also.

after it ended alot of us hung outside the ballroom taking pics... ok this has gotten to somewhat of a scandal on tpjc photoshare, but i'll just post it for the pensieve's sake.

at 4am the thing closed then we hung ard at macs until 6 then we caught public transport home to the never so comfortable before bed.
