Prom '06

what a night. unforgettable, fun, everything positive lah. the only thing i regret: not exhausting my memory card. wasted lah.. but nvm i still had the night of my life man... haha sounds like i did something taboo but no lah im juz referring to the prom night. :D

we gathered at eugenes hse first before making our way down to the Ritz. and i bought 8 batteries, 6 of which i never used. $9.50 summore! thanks know. but anyway at least i feel secure lah haha like who the hell brings a pack of 6 batteries to prom and doesnt use them... siao man. so anyway we took a taxi there, met a few 01ers at the lobby area! punctual sia



after awhile we went down to outside the ballroom there n waited for more ppl to arrive so just talk n kept taking more pics haha

after ALOT of ushering by the ushers we all finally went inside... the ballroom was great man. so glam... tts y i said i'll nv forget that night. most of the ppl go in also still dun settle down; walk ard finding ppl... so much so the emcee Rod Monteiro had to use some lies to organise everyone. but he's a funny dude man haha n horny too. but anyway even as we sat still cannot settle down...





there were some speeches, then it got down to the food. we were left to merely fantasize about the chinese course dinner we thot we were gonna have... it was western tt night... n the food was either crap or too way out of our league... i think its likely the latter hahha. so it was like bread, soup, appetizer, main course, dessert n coffee. they served those kinda one big white plate then abit of food, parsley, then the dressing n voila, 10 bucks please. so after awhile we got up again... everytime there was a break or sth... then go ard snapping away.

saw lotsa ppl dressed their best... trackers, last time tennis teammates, other friends, and even made new friends! haha at prom... can't believe it.


this is clara i think... met her at sentosa too. but i dont remember her from there. i remember her frm sports day... if by any chance in the world ur reading this, SEE, I REMEMBERED!! hahaha

had alot of funny stuff on the program, lucky draws esp.

funny how lucky draws evolved frm something of a filler to a big part of the program now.

there was lots of suspense, anticipation, wadever... then when the last digit come out somewhere in the ballroom will be cheering like mad cuz their fren got it, or the table got it. eugene damn lucky he tio some 40bucks newurbanmale voucher... if i know early i go kope his ticket first hahah... ws was going hopping crazy over our luckless streak at the draws, table or individual... cuz the prizes really quite enticing, esp the IPOD NANO!

there was this game i think was quite fun; between tables... ws was the table rep. we got him every single item except a grey hair which suddenly becomes totally my fault cuz i dyed my hair red... hahha everytime i think of it damn funny la. and theres actually one more thing lacking, unless u count darren as an approved singing male table member. crap!

im gonna blog abt everything i remember, and im not gonna leave this one out. its almost the highlight of the evening... the nominees for prom king went up on stage, strutted their stuff blah blah... fast forward... the nominees for prom queen went on stage. weitian was one of them!! power la... then as with prom king, the prom queen nominees "sashayed" down the aisle. then we planned n executed... rt passed tk a flower from the table there, tk held the flower and...


movie? nope. haha damn cool la

wt didnt tio top 3 but whoa i think tt was gd enough already la! but without wt up there, i think it was quite easy to guess who would have been prom queen... easier so for king. i think they both look good; and better together. at least much better than one of the past yrs one... looked like a major attempt at sabo. as for the best dressed, i think the guy with the countryside look wouldve been more compatible with the gal, who dressed quite countryside also.

after it ended alot of us hung outside the ballroom taking pics... ok this has gotten to somewhat of a scandal on tpjc photoshare, but i'll just post it for the pensieve's sake.


n contrary to the title on photoshare, there is nothing going on ok? N to everyone reading this, don't be deceived by the photo's entry into top 10; its all because ERIC 05s01 is clicking it, n i'll assure u not even a fifth of the views are different people.

took some photos with a few ppl i see ard in sch but dont really know them personally... but just for fun haha... n i also took a picture with our sch's campus superstar contestant! haha recognize her?

FRIENDLY LIKE FRIENDS!!! Yeah HAHAH everytime i think of this i just wonder at the marvel of human relations... liddat also can know haha damn funny

then we all made our way to the postprom.


i think on the whole clubbing is ok lar... without the dark side of it, i dont mind going there but i wouldn't suggest going there, if u get my drift. we were on the dance floor and at the bar most of the time, or upstairs slacking. again clara if u happen to see this sry but i went upstairs to slack... n after the party u were all messed up haha

at 4am the thing closed then we hung ard at macs until 6 then we caught public transport home to the never so comfortable before bed.

that was one hell of a long post but its worth the heaven of an experience :D
