happy 41st!

national day today- happy birthday Singapore! shit i wanted to go ndp but unfortunately, the system nowadays is that the internet allowed everyone to sign up conveniently whether they want it or not, then those who didn't actually want the tickets and got them sold them away for a price. But of course, there may be a law that was passed against selling the tickets away, so absolutely nobody would dare to sell their tickets!

anyway yesterday was ok la... but tpjc celebrations still lacked tt x-factor/element tt would keep the moments engraved in my mind. so yeah after the assembly n (er,) parade, we went to our classrooms to piece together a few pieces of a jigsaw puzzle (wow fun huh), which was part of a bigger jigsaw... sounds like something from the Post Impressionists... Degas? think so... haha anyway then went to hall for... [drum roll]... NE Quiz. *(&%$**&! then there was the usual recollection thingy with some music n funny skits to go along with, then came the songs... tried to make the best out of it by going quite mad over the songs with the usual 01ers



after tt met lynette then went subway for lunch... wanted to try the meatball thingy tt eugene recommended but on the menu it looked quite ballish/ballistic (?!) so just decided on the bmt. after roaming heeren n taka i realize sth. town/orchard got nth much except boutiques, boutiques n more boutiques lar... i think suntec/east coast more stuff to engage ppl. went pooling abit... n i met so many aj frens there! saw og mates kunlin n ryotarou, and zhicong billy n weihan from ftm 0305! haha remember pooling with them on my bday last yr at downtown east... anyway lynete nt bad ar u improved quite alot from last time haha

then we went to watch Click- the show damn funny at some parts... haha wadya expect with adam sandler. its a nice show with some parts funny and some touching. i watched a similar show sometime ago on the plane to sydney i think (wow i still can remember tt)- Family Man or sth liddat.

after tt went to wisma atria awhile (more boutiques?!! got one even named Dickson hahha) then i went to marina to meet eugene darren ws n yz. we walked to some Chong Pang to have some steamboat... siao man... i always take bus one... then there we met tk n wt. had a hell damn lot of meat n heat there... chicken, beef, mutton, wadever... but i nv cook, i just eat haha cuz got valid reason- i nv took homec before so i may poison ppl if i cook.


- at some point there was a forest of a steamboat... apparently there r some who (i can't understand why) like plain vegetables
ms tan n pat joined us sometime into the meal... then at abt 9 the fireworks started. DAMN NICE LAR. a power piece of art man! n i din know my vs mates were somewhere nearby... at the oriental... ha anyway there on the field everyone was utilising high-tech stuff like as if it was normal... Technotopia. we're working towards it. haha


me darren n yz tried to take ourselves together with the fireworks but abit the difficult. this the best of the four tt were taken

soon the magic in the skies finished. i was wondering when they'd invent mini fireworks tt u can just throw from ur hand n it does its magic in front of ur eyes... i sure buy one whole carton... then we hung ard in superbowl contemplating bowling. cuz it was damn ex. shit lah wanted to play cuz damn long nv play already. in the end the stupid bus took a helluva long time to arrive, we just squeezed into a maxicab... 4 bucks and a few mr bean episodes later, i was home. super economical.

summary: i was out of the house for close to 16 hrs... but it was fun! Happy National Day!
