happy lunar new yr to everyone and myself!

somewhat glad to be able to celebrate two new years... a second new year = a second chance to explore, second chance to relax, second chance to turn over a new leaf, second chance to everything.

once again meeting relatives, sitting there wondering how tradition ensured that we never drift apart for more than a year, looking at the people yakking at me in cantonese and hokkien but not something i'd understand, pretending to respond with a smile and nod of agreement to something i have absolutely no idea about. all i know is they were talking about bak kwa. seeing how cousins whom i knew as little kids change every year cuz they are growing up (pity them. i'd tell them not to be in a hurry to grow up).

going visiting is really like watching a movie. although my movie was quite short. there's an emo soundtrack playing in the air (my air) every Visiting Day of chinese new year.

be happy, be contented, love to be loved, and count your blessings (ang pow money for most).
