Happy Looney-er New Year!

reunion dinner at grandplaza park hotel was (i admit) my fullest and foolish-est buffet dinner i've had in a long time... cuz my palate was heck-caring my appetite... all the blood rush to my eyes n mouth until my stomach n brain screwed up the negative feedback system. but i dont want to waste food/money ma... so must eat 100%!

3 mini- buddha jumps over the wall, some duck, some ham, some rib, abit of roast suckling pig, some smoked salmon, oysters, a little sashimi, jellyfish, some sushi, softshell crab, spaghetti goreng(?!! i dunno wads tt but looked nice), not-very-good-lobster bisque soup, fondue from a chocolate fountain, abit of french pastry, fruit, n ice cream with toppings. all in one sitting, which i dont think i dare to do again haha.

so damn full i think i could feel the last of the food just at the entrance to the oesophagus. i dont think i even ate this full last yr. Greed can kill us, literally.

went budget visiting today- to my maternal grandmother's n that's it. n the thing abt those people we call relatives is that they just have to say the usual abt "all so big already" n stuff. even though im sure they know abt the log phase. y cant they say sth at least different, like mayb "wah u still so young!" or sth else... or if someone's daring enough then tell the older relatives "all so old already" back to them.

a relative's visit made me realize how silver the spoon in my mouth is... his life is somewhat broken now, because of a teary childhood owing to lack of parental love... drove him off the lateral in his learning years n now he can never catch up with time already. relegated to the middle class, doing full-time what my friends are doing part-time. quite sad. now the family's ok (tts y still can visit us), but abit too late to patch the 28-yr-old's life.

changing is one thing; shortchanging is another... if i become a parent, i'll try to not to spoil my kid, but i'll definitely not deprive him/her... i grew up happily n i'll make sure he/she does :D
