just finished reading this book recently. its a very nice book... flinging ur mind to different corners of the heart. must admit i'd always underestimated this story ever since i heard of it, thinking it to be just another cheesy twin of the princess's diaries sort of thing. it's actually a universe apart... the starting part may b abit boring cuz it introduces the characters n all tt... no doubt important la. but after tt once u reach the start of the build-up then it becomes interesting... i only put the book down twice before i reached 1/3 of it. the next time was after i finished :D i'll rate it 4.5/5 (for ppl who read novels la). thanks for the book jema!
reflection time. what i have learnt so far as a ASA(D):
1. rank doesn't really matter, although it does.
2. how to manipulate my formation duty to my advantage (i now only got 2 for the month of may)
3. block out fridays, saturdays, eves of public hols too.
4. in an office/ in camp, its good to think smart n act blur. gives u the confidence to get around rules and regulations.
5. out of office/ out of camp, its ok to think blur n act smart.
6. the psp is a very good friend in times of boredom, like on the mrt or on duty.

what does FAST-CARS mean to u?
not rapid vehicles... its actually an effective anthrax detection method.
i wonder who would have known that its an abbreviation for femtosecond adaptive spectroscopic techniques via coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering.
